My stay at Hotel Unizo Tokyo Ginza-Itchome was quite pleasant overall. The location couldn't be better, being close to both Tokyo Station and Ginza, making it easy to explore the area. While the room was smaller than what I'm used to, it was clean and had useful amenities. However, the service experience was hit or miss, depending on who was at the reception during my check-in and check-out.

Rooms
8.0
The room was very small compared to Western standards, but it was suitable since I was only there to sleep. It was tidy, with a fridge and kettle, which I found very convenient.
Service
5.0
While most of the staff were nice and professional, my experience with one male receptionist was frustrating. His impatient attitude during check-in and check-out left me feeling unwelcome.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from multiple subway lines and very close to shopping districts in Ginza. It made moving around Tokyo a breeze.
Dining
7.0
The hotel offers various dining options, though the nearby restaurants can be a bit on the pricier side. I appreciate having a selection of Western and Japanese food available.
Facilities
8.0
Facilities like room service, housekeeping, and laundry were available, and I also appreciated the lobby's microwave for quick snacks. A trouser press and purifier were thoughtfully provided.

5.8/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Unizo Tokyo Ginza-Itchome. The location was fantastic, nestled in the heart of Ginza and close to multiple subway lines, making airport transfers easy. Unfortunately, the staff's attitude was a letdown, with some interactions feeling cold and unwelcoming. The room, while clean, felt cramped due to extra furniture, but it had all the necessary amenities like free water bottles and a comfy bed. Overall, the location is the strongest point of this hotel, but service improvements are much needed. 😕

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were compact, expectedly so in Tokyo, but the extra furniture made them feel crowded. Despite that, they were clean and equipped with amenities like free water bottles and slippers.
Service
5.0
I encountered some unfriendly staff, particularly during check-in and check-out. Their impatience and lack of useful information were disappointing and felt very uncharacteristic of Japanese hospitality.
Location
10.0
The location was superb, right in the lively Ginza area, with easy access to subway lines and close to the Tokyo Main Station, making it very convenient for travel.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was average, with a mix of Western and Japanese options. While some items were acceptable, like the salads, others, such as the watery curry, were quite disappointing.
Facilities
6.0
Housekeeping and basic facilities were adequate, but I found the cleaning service sometimes late in the day which could be inconvenient.

6.6/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Unizo Tokyo Ginza-Itchome. The location was fantastic—close to shopping areas and train stations—making it easy to navigate the city. However, I found the room quite small compared to Western standards, and the breakfast left much to be desired. Overall, while I appreciated the convenience, there were definite areas for improvement. 😊

Rooms
7.0
The room was small but clean, with basic amenities like a fridge and kettle. I was pleased with the daily cleaning service. However, I found the space cramped, especially with the large ironing board taking up room. There was also only one small pillow, but I managed to get an extra one.
Service
5.0
I found the staff to be quite cold and unhelpful at times. When I sought advice on transportation to Ueno Station, they insisted on two taxis instead of a more reasonable option. This left a negative impression on my stay, though I appreciated that reception had various amenities available for guests.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is one of its strongest points. It's centrally located in the Ginza area, just a short walk from Tokyo Station and other major attractions. Access to multiple subway lines was also very convenient for traveling to both Haneda and Narita Airports.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was disappointing; it lacked warmth and quality. The selection was not impressive, and the food felt uninviting. This aspect really detracted from my overall experience, especially when comparing it to other hotels I've stayed at. I would recommend looking for dining options outside the hotel.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offered basic facilities, including housekeeping and access to amenities at reception. However, the lobby microwave felt out of place compared to some of the other offerings, making the overall facilities feel quite standard and not particularly luxurious.

6.2/10

My stay at Hotel Unizo Tokyo Ginza-Itchome had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, making it easy to access shopping and public transportation. However, the service left much to be desired, with some staff members displaying impatience and a lack of warmth. The dining options were also quite plain, which was disappointing given the vibrant culinary scene in Tokyo.

Rooms
6.0
I found the room to be quite small, which is typical for Tokyo, but it felt cramped due to unnecessary furnishings. I appreciated the cleanliness, although it could have been better organized.
Service
5.0
While some staff were helpful, I encountered a male receptionist whose attitude was quite unfriendly. This made my check-in and check-out process less enjoyable, especially when I needed assistance.
Location
9.0
The location is excellent, very close to both Tokyo Station and the Ginza shopping area, which was incredibly convenient for exploring the city.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was unremarkable; it lacked variety and was served cold. The offerings felt disconnected from the hotel's overall feel, which was disappointing given my expectations.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had the basic necessities like room service and housekeeping, but the overall setup felt more like a commercial building than a welcoming hotel.

5.0/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Unizo Tokyo Ginza-Itchome. The location is fantastic for exploring the upscale Ginza area and is conveniently close to Tokyo Station. However, I found the service to be lacking, and there were a few issues with the room size and amenities that affected my overall stay.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were clean and not as tiny as I expected, though still relatively small. I had a bit of an issue with the limited space and the single small pillow provided, but I did eventually receive an extra one. The ironing board took up unnecessary space, which was frustrating.
Service
5.0
I found the staff to be a bit cold, especially when I asked for help regarding travel to Ueno Station. Their suggestion to take two taxis seemed inappropriate considering our luggage, and they lacked knowledge of Uber, which was disappointing.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location in the Ginza area was perfect for shopping and dining. It was close to several subway lines with easy access to both Narita and Haneda airports, which was very convenient for my travels.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was underwhelming. it could have been much better. The food was often cold, and the selection wasn't very appealing, especially the bread, which didn't meet my expectations for Japanese quality.
Facilities
6.0
Basic amenities and room service were available, but there were some delays with housekeeping which was inconvenient at times. Overall, the experience felt a bit like a commercial building rather than a hotel.
